Daniel Dinsmore Photography was the first call I made when we got engaged and I was NOT disappointed! Before I agree with what most other reviews say, I have to comment on how he went above and beyond for us. I was pretty bummed that all of the snow had melted the week of our January wedding. I really wanted some snowy photos but had accepted the fact that you can't predict MN weather. Dan surprised us on wedding day by having a snow machine set up at the church...a SNOW MACHINE! We couldn't believe it! I don't think any other photographer would have gone out of their way to make a snowy wedding day happen!(If you're curious there is one photo using the snow machine in his gallery; of me and my hubby with my veil blowing). In addition, Dan made everyone super comfortable and was able to capture very natural shots, and my husband usually hates having the camera on him. Dan has a genuine, down-to-earth personality and quick sense of humor that made the entire process really fun. He even kept our 3-year-old ring bearers laughing! His team is also very personable and professional. We received out photos back quickly and they turned out even better than I had hoped. He also did a fantastic job on our "wedding day story," video/slideshow. Many wedding party and family members have commented on how awesome he was and his pictures speak for themselves. We couldn't be happier that we chose him!

When we started looking for wedding photographers, I was a bit worried because of past experiences at my sister's wedding as well as the fact that I know my groom, and he does not like his picture taken... When my mom found Daniel, I had a mental list of questions and concerns for him the most important being: #1- will you need a liaison to help find important peoples? Dan- No, I can remember everyone's name for about 5 hours. (check! amazing feat #1! and best answer because I had to be a liaison at sis's wedding and it ruined most of the day for me) #2- what about a camera shy groom? Dan- I have never had a hard time getting a groom to take a good photo, I just get to know them a bit and maybe buy them a beer, and they are ok. Done it a million times. (double check! Beer + grooms= instant happy!) I could go on, but it's not necessary, I was sold from that minute on. Day of- we did photos first, (best idea ever!) and I arrived to Dan and my groom acting like old buddies! I couldn't believe it! He was an amazing addition to our wedding, making friends with everyone and adding to the fun will all the jokes! He caught spectacular smiles from everyone and never asked me- or anyone- for a single name, (I don't know how he did that!) Our photos are fantastic and we bought the rights as well as an album because we wanted all of them! Who can say that??!! Check him out on Facebook to get a glimpse of what he is capable of! Thank you so much Daniel for a wonderful time, and making our day even more special! p.s. Some of our local family was so impressed they hired him for other events too!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Daniel and Megan at our wedding last weekend and we could not have been happier!! Daniel is easy (and fun!) to be around which I think is the key to good pictures as the smiles, and laughs, are genuine. He was willing to take risks and went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable. A true class act. As two people in a corporate world the other thing we truly loved about working with Daniel and team was the professionalism and constant communication. A bride and groom have to put a LOT of trust in their "vendors" and Daniel was the only one (literally, the only one) that we did not have to follow-up with, ask for scheduling, etc. He managed the timeline and the logistics with precision and not a detail was missed. Something my type A personality greatly appreciated! When I asked my husband what he thought he said he would recommend Daniel "100 times out of 100", and I would have to agree!!
